Settingsgaard Posts Career-High in Loss Against #17 Florida Southern

Lakeland, Fla. — The SVSU Women's Basketball team headed south to the sunshine state to begin their holiday trip taking on hosts, No. 17 Florida Southern, Monday afternoon, in the Terrace Hotel Classic. Despite a total team effort, the Cardinals fell to the Mocs, 91-65, heading to a 0-1 start at the Classic. FSC earned its eighth win of the season.

Saginaw Valley came out fairly tough in the first five minutes of action against the #17 Mocs, staying within two points majority of the time. As FSC stepped up their game in the remainder of the quarter, so did the amount of fouls for both sides of the ball.
