SVSU Golf Signs Mitter to National Letter of Intent

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf program has signed one student-athlete, Nick Mitter, to a National Letter of Intent.

Mitter, a senior at Brighton High School, is preparing for his senior campaign this spring as a member of the Bulldog golf team. Nick has been a part of the Brighton golf program his entire high school career and plans on studying Accounting at Saginaw Valley. Mitter also fared well in the Meijer Adams Junior Golf Tour, one of the top summer circuits in the region.

"I'm looking forward to Nick joining our golf program as he is a very good student and all-around athlete.  He comes from a solid high school program, has a great swing coach (Jack Seltzer), and plays out of Oak Pointe Country Club," commented SVSU golf coach Joe Vogl.  "In addition to his high school career, he has played quite well the past couple of summers in junior tournaments throughout Michigan and Ohio."

Coach Vogl and the rest of the talented SVSU golfers look forward to Mitter's arrival in the Fall of 2013.
