Title: Student Assistant Coach

Caleb Zastrow is in his first year as a student assistant coach in the men's basketball program.

His first year with the program saw SVSU go 19-11 overall and 12-8 in GLIAC play. SVSU advanced to the semifinals of the GLIAC Tournament before falling to tournament champion Davenport. Delano Smith earned First Team All-GLIAC honors, while Tyler Witz and Darnell Hoskins Jr. earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors.

He took stats during their games and helped prepare film for the players and coaches to watch. He also helped with in-game adjustments and breaking down the film of the opponents.

Caleb's role includes all aspects of scouting and film. His tasks are to upload practice, game, and scouting film as well as prepare it for the coaches and players to view. He prepares scouting reports and post-game reports. On the court, he assists with practices and player development. During games, he takes stats and assists the coaches with writing down notes and echoing play calls.
