SVSU Legend Todd Herremans Elected to the Muskegon Area Sports HOF

MUSKEGON, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University football legend Todd Herremans was recently elected as a member of the Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022.

Herremans played 11 seasons in the National Football League after being drafted out of SVSU in 2005. He started 126 of the 135 games he played on the offensive line over his 11 seasons, spending 10 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

As a member of the SVSU football team, Herremans earned first-team Associated Press Little All-America honors and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year accolades. He was a member of the program from 2001-04.

Herremans will be joined in the class by longtime Muskegon Catholic Central football coach Mike Ribecky, Grand Haven two-sport standout Abby (Cole) Hatch, and Oakridge multi-sport star Dr. Calvin Johnson. The class will be inducted on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the 35trh annual MASHF induction banquet at Mercy Health Arena
