Cardinals Earn Forfeit Victory Over Lake Erie

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University Women's Tennis team earned an official victory on Saturday (Oct. 15) when Lake Erie was forced to forfeit the match. With the win, the Cardinals improve and 5-7 in the GLIAC. 

The match was originally scheduled for Sept. 29, but was rescheduled due to an excessive amount of injuries on the Lake Erie squad.

The Cardinals will return to action next Friday (Oct. 21) to face Northwood University at the Midland Community Tennis Center in the first round of the 2011 GLIAC Tennis Tournament.
