Morad Selected to NSCAA All-Region Team

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Saginaw Valley State University women's soccer player Megan Morad was selected to the Midwest All-Region team for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America today (Dec. 9).

Morad, a sophomore from South Lyon, Mich., started all 18 games for the Cardinals in 2010, scoring her lone goal of the season in the first match of the year.  She was moved to defense early in the season, where she became the Cardinals' most consistent defender in 2010.

SVSU finished the season 9-8-1 overall and 8-6-1 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), before falling in the first round of the GLIAC tournament.
