Cardinals Earn GLIAC All-Academic Honors Bay City, Mich.--The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2012 Basketball Academic Teams. SVSU basketball was represented by eight student-athletes on the achievement list.
Herzog Earns GLIAC All-Defense Honors BAY CITY, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2011-12 all-conference teams tonight (Mar. 2), with Grace Herzog being the lone member of the Saginaw Valley State University women's basketball team to receive recognition.
Cardinals End Season With 76-61 Loss To Wildcats MARQUETTE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's basketball team fell to Northern Michigan University today (Feb. 25), 76-61, in their 2011-12 season finale. Kristen Greene led the Cardinals with 15 points and six rebounds.
