CLEVELAND - The SVSU swimming & diving team wrapped up day two of competition at the Cleveland State Invitational in the same standing as they started. The women stand at seventh with 195 points and men hold at fourth with 492.
Dalton Pokley took seventh for the men in the 100 yard butterfly with a final time of 51.30, followed by Michael Spears, who earned ninth, coming in at 51.51.
Peter Lin earned fifth place in the 200 yard freestyle, recording a program record at 1:43.61.
In the women's 100 yard breastroke, Lydia Mattar came in seventh, posting a time of 1:05.30.
Yap earned first place for the second time during the invitational, this time in the men's 100 yard breaststroke, recording a new program record of 54.20. Teammates Tyler Miller took eighth place in the same race, posting a time of 59.65.
Amanda Thielen took ninth place in the 100 yard backstroke, setting a program record time of 56.99.
Wilhelmina Francisco earned fifth in the women's three meter diving, posting a final score of 229.85. In the men's three meter diving, Maxwell Buxton earned second place with a score of 218.55.
