The Cardinals went perfect in the regular season, including four consecutive overtime victories, winning the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference regular-season title for the fifth time, and finishing with a record of 8-1-0 after falling 1-0 to Ashland University in the conference tournament semifinals.
