    UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s soccer team’s 2021 spring season was exciting from start to finish. The Cardinals went perfect in the regular season, including four consecutive overtime victories, winning the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference regular-season title for the fifth time, and finishing with a record of 8-1-0 after falling 1-0 to Ashland University in the conference tournament semifinals.
