KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer student-athletes Tyler Channell (Troy, Mich. / Athens HS) and Jordan Kalk (Richmond Hill, Ont. / Bill Crothers Secondary) earned all-america honors from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association for the 2015 season.

Channell, a senior forward, was named to the 2015 All-America First Team after posting 52 points on the season with 19 goals and 14 assists. The D2CCA Midwest Region First-Teamer and Midwest Region Player of the Year was also named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second time. He earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) First Team All-Midwest Region plaudits as well.

Kalk, a junior forward for the Cardinals, earned Third Team All-America honors for the 2015 season. He totaled 43 points in his third year at SVSU, notching 20 goals and three assists. Kalk earned D2CCA First Team All-Midwest Region honors along with Channell, Second Team NSCAA All-Midwest Region plaudits and was also named to the 2015 All-GLIAC First Team.

Channell and Kalk were offensive catalysts in leading the Cardinals to an overall record of 15-4-1, with the team advancing to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the fourth time in the past five years. SVSU won its opening round game before bowing out in the second round. 

The All-American honors makes it five in the history of the SVSU program, all coming since the 2012 season. In that year, Zach Myers and Jason Wise earned All-American honors while Craig Neal was named an all-american in 2014.
