LEMONT, Ill. - The Saginaw Valley State University Men's Golf team posted a score of 307 (+19) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Central / Midwest Super Regional Tournament.  The event is being hosted at the Cog Hill Dubsdread Course in Lemont, Illinois.  

The 307 first round score has the Cards tied for 16th overall with the Malone University Pioneers.  

Senior Micah Skidmore had the low score for the Cardinals, as he posted a 74 (+2) in the opening round of play and sits in a tie for 32nd place overall.

Fellow seniors Carter Marsh and Jeremy Schultz each shot 75's (+3) and are tied for 41st place overall.  Sophomore Ryan Peruski had an 83 (+11) to finish the scoring for SVSU.

The Cardinals are back in action of Tuesday (May 5), as they begin second round play in the tournament.
