BAY CITY - Saginaw Valley State University men's golf student-athlete Micah Skidmore has been honored by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), earning Second Team All-GLIAC honors for the 2014-15 season.

Skidmore has played in every event for the Cardinals this season, competing in 21 rounds total.  He has a stroke average of 74.38 that includes five top-10 finishes for the 2014-15 campaign.  Of those top-10 finishes, his low tournament came at the 2014 GLIAC Men's Golf Championships where he shot a three-round total of 215 (72-70-73), finishing the tournament at one-under par.  He has posted three rounds of 70 (-2) for the year as well.

The second-team honors for Skidmore marks the third time he has earned all-conference plaudits in his four-year career.  He was named All-GLIAC First Team in the 2012 and 2014 seasons, as well as being named the GLIAC "Freshman of the Year" in the 2012 campaign.  Skidmore was also named All-Region in the 2012 and 2014 seasons for his play.
