Cardinals Finish 15th in NCAA Super Regional

DUNCAN, Okla. - The Saginaw Valley State University golf team finished the 2010 Midwest/South Super Regional in 15th place with a three day total of 931.  SVSU shot a 305 on the first day following that up with a 315 on day two before posting a final round of 311.  The Cardinals were tied for 18th going into the final round before moving up three spots in the final round.

Saginaw Valley was led  by Nate Kelly (Suttons Bay, Mich./Suttons Bay HS), who fired a three day total of 230 with a low round of 70 on day one.  Mike Horn (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston HS) finished with a 235 with a final round 73, while Dieter Schulz (Fort Gratiot, Mich./Port Huron Northern HS) ended with a three round total of 238, with a low round of 77 on day three.  Rob Ronk (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston HS) finished the regional with a three day total 240 and Jonathan Lange (Midland, Mich./Bullock Creek HS) finished with a 241.

The Cardinals 2009-10 season has now completed.
