Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Grand Rapids
West Catholic High School under head coach Dan Rohn...QB'ed his
high school to a 12-1 senior year record and was varsity for all
four years...also was a pitcher for the baseball team and played
guard for the basketball team...during his senior year he passed
for 2500 yards and rushed for 1050, accounting for 40 touchdowns
(27 pass/13 rush), all of which were school records...was named to
following First Teams: All-Conference, GR Press All-Area Dream
Team, Associated Press All-State, Advance News All-Area, All-State
QB Detroit News Division 5, and All-State QB Detroit Free Press
Division 5...was named Burger King Athlete of the Week, McDonalds
Scholar Athlete of the Week, and was selected to play in the MHSFCA
2008 All-Star Game at Spartan Stadium...also named Mid-Michigan
Touchdown Club Great 8 Region 2 Best High School QB...earned the
West Catholic Scholar Athlete Award and was an honors
student...major is currently undecided...son of Ken and Mary Jo
