Title: Assistant Baseball Coach/Hitting and Infield Coach

Tim Crow joined the SVSU baseball staff as a volunteer assistant in 2021-22. Crow is an SVSU graduate, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in December 1992. Prior to that he attended Flint Southwestern High School, Mott Community College, and Rio Hondo College in Whittier, Ca. where he was a member of the baseball teams. He played in the Netherlands for Club PSV and Co-Op baseball with the Barnstorming Indianapolis Clowns. 

The 2022 Cardinals were 21-28 overall and 10-14 in the GLIAC in Crow's first season on the staff. Hayden Jatczak and Hunter Merillat earned First Team All-GLIAC honors, Austin Schweiger was named Second Team All-GLIAC, and Martin Money and Andrew Burke earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC. 

Crow has had a wide variety of experience in the baseball world. Prior to joining the Cardinals staff, Crow spent the last five years managing in Europe. Most accomplishments of his came in Austria and Germany. During his time as manager, he compiled a 97-69 record, including a Swiss League Division II National Championship and a Vorarlberg Cup Championship.  

Crow has been a high school coach for fifteen years, coaching Flint Southwestern High School to four straight City Championships from 1995-98. Coaching under Arizona Hall of Fame coaches in Arizona he was part of seven State Championship games. From 2005-2010 Horizon High School made six straight state championships appearances, winning four State Titles. In 2017, Crow made another trip to the State Championship game with Pinnacle High School working as Associate Head Coach for another AZHOF coach Roy Muller. Crow is a certified USA Baseball Coach and also spent four years in Minor League Baseball as an umpire. 

Crow resides in Flushing, Michigan. Before joining the staff at SVSU, he was the head coach of Paradise Valley High School in Arizona. Crow would earn the 2021 Northeast Regional Coach of the Year honor.
