Grace Herzog, SVSU Women's Basketball

Grace Herzog (Linden, Mich./Powers Catholic HS), a junior forward on the SVSU Women's Basketball team, blocked a Hillsdale shot attempt on Saturday (Feb. 23) to give her 83 blocks on the season breaking her previous school record (82) from the 2009-10 campaign.

Herzog currently leads the conference and is second in the nation in blocked shots at 3.5 per contest. Grace leads the team in rebounds at 6.8 per contest and is averaging 6.9 points per contest.

Herzog has the opportunity to extend her record as the Cardinals have two games remaining in the 2011-12 season.
