2012 Trunk-or-Treat Around the Track

SVSU Athletics is already hard at work in planning the 2012 “Trunk-or-Treat” Around the Track event, which is scheduled for October 26, 2012 this year and will take place inside the Ryder Center on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University.
Last year over 1,500 children came in costume and joined Cardinal Athletes, Coaches and the Graff Bay City team for a safe, fun and weather-proof trick-or-treating experience. Meijer provided the candy and healthy food items for the kids while also sponsoring a costume contest.
The Saginaw Valley State University Athletic Department was awarded the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Community Engagement Award for this event last year.
This marks the third time that the SVSU Athletic
Department has been selected as the winner of the NCAA Community
Engagement Award of Excellence.
